The aim of this program is to ease the access to education for under-priviledged Roma children
through the following activities:
- preschool club education,
- cooperation between parents, primary schools, Banská Bystrica municipal authorities and other non-governmental organizations.
The target group: Roma children, aged 5-7 years, with poverty issues.
Besides poverty, other barriers are:
- language barriers
- social barriers
- territorial barriers
By regular and systematic educational programs, we would like to raise the quality of their lives with real opportunities for a future job.
Expected result of the project: Not any child who finished preschool program should be shifted to a special primary school for problematic children.
